This guide explains how to edit the content of a section within a Customer Resource, using the Visual Builder editor or uploading a file.
Procedure
1. Accessing Resource Management
1. In the administration panel, navigate to the section dedicated to resource management (usually called Customer Resources).
2. Locate the resource you want to edit and click to open its settings.
3. Scroll down to the Content section. Here you will find the list of sections that make up the resource.
4. Click on an existing section to modify it, or click the button to add new content.
2. Changing the Content Type
Within the content row, you need to define the type of editor you want to use.
1. Enter a Title for the section (for example: "PDF Documentation" or "Course Introduction").
2. In the Type dropdown menu, select the desired input mode:
- Select Visual Builder to insert formatted text, images, and complex content blocks.
- Select File to allow users to download a document or file.
- Select Video to embed a video from an external platform (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo).
3. Adding Content
Depending on the selected Type, different configuration options will appear.
Option A: Using Visual Builder
If you selected Visual Builder:
1. An advanced text field (Visual Builder) will appear in the settings area.
2. Click on the field to open the editor.
3. Use Visual Builder tools to add text, titles, images, or any other necessary content block.
4. Save changes within Visual Builder.
Option B: Uploading a File
If you selected File:
1. A file selection field will appear in the settings area ([data-name="settings"]).
2. Click on the field to open the media library.
3. Select the file you want to make available for download or upload it from your computer.
4. The system will save a reference to the file.
Option C: Embedding a Video
If you selected Video:
1. A text field for the video link will appear.
2. Paste the video URL (for example, YouTube or Vimeo sharing link) into the provided field.
4. Saving Changes
1. After configuring the section and adding content, make sure all changes are saved within the content row.
2. Finally, save the entire Customer Resource to apply changes in the Customer Area.
