This guide explains how to update the details, expiration date, and usage conditions of an already created coupon.
Procedure
1. Access the coupon editing screen (titled Edit Coupon).
2. In the Coupon Settings section, modify the following fields:
- Coupon Name: Enter a new identifying name for the coupon.
- Value (€ / %): Enter the discount value.
- Select the unit of measurement (Euro: € or Percentage: %) from the dropdown menu next to the value.
3. If you want to include free shipping with this coupon, check the box Free Shipping.
4. Define the coupon expiration by modifying the Expiration Type:
- A time period: Select this option if the coupon should expire after a certain interval from its creation.
- In the Expiration field, enter the number of units.
- In the following dropdown menu, select the desired time unit (Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, or Years).
- A specific date: Select this option if the coupon should expire on a precise date and time.
- In the Enter Date field, select the expiration date and time.
5. Set the usage conditions:
- Maximum uses: Indicate the maximum number of times the coupon can be used in total.
- Minimum spending amount: Enter the minimum amount that the customer must spend to apply the coupon.
6. After completing your changes, click on the system’s save button (usually labeled Save or Update Step) to apply the new settings.
