This procedure allows you to configure a coupon that will be automatically created on your connected Prestashop site each time this automation action is executed.
Procedure
1. In the Coupon Name field, enter the name that will identify the discount (for example, "Welcome 10% Discount").
2. In the Value (€ / %) field, enter the discount amount.
3. Use the dropdown menu next to the value to select the discount unit: € (fixed amount) or % (percentage).
4. Check the Free shipping box if you want the coupon to also include free shipping for the user.
5. In the Expiration type field, choose how the coupon should expire:
- A period of time: The coupon expires after a time interval specified from issuance.
- A specific date: The coupon expires at a fixed date and time.
6. If you chose "A period of time":
- In the Expiration field, enter the numeric value.
- In the dropdown menu below, select the time unit (Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, or Years).
- In the Maximum uses field, specify how many times in total this coupon can be used (default is 1).
7. If you chose "A specific date":
- In the Enter date field, select the exact date and time when the coupon will no longer be valid.
8. In the Minimum spending amount field, enter the minimum amount that the user must spend to apply the discount. If there are no restrictions, enter 0.
9. Click on the save button (usually Save or Apply) to confirm the coupon configuration.
