This procedure allows you to define how the automation action will modify the customer's points balance (adding, removing, or setting a new total).
Procedure
1. In the action edit screen (titled Edit points), locate the Points section.
2. In the field labeled Operation, click and select the desired modification type:
- Add: Adds the specified value to the customer's current points balance.
- Remove: Subtracts the specified value from the customer's current points balance.
- Set: Overwrites the customer's current points balance with the specified value.
3. In the Points Value field, enter the numerical amount of points to use for the selected operation (for example, 100).
4. In the Notes field, you can enter an internal description related to the operation (for example, "Bonus for survey completion").
5. Save the automation action to apply the changes.
