This guide helps you configure which products in your catalog can be purchased using discount points accumulated by your customers.
Procedure
1. Log in to the admin panel and go to the Customer Points module settings.
2. Click on the General tab.
3. Scroll down until you find the Usage section (located inside a box titled Usage).
4. In the Usage section, locate the following options to define product restrictions:
- Exclude already discounted products:
- Under the label Discounted Products, check the box Exclude discounted products. Customers will not be able to use points to purchase items already on promotion.
- Limit point use only to specific products (Inclusion):
- In the Limit by product field, start typing the name of the product you want to include. Select it from the list that appears.
- Note: If you fill in this field, points can be used only on the products listed here.
- Exclude specific products from point use (Exclusion):
- In the Exclude products field, start typing the name of the product you do not want to be purchasable with points. Select it from the list that appears.
- Note: Points cannot be used to purchase these items.
5. Once you have completed the changes, click the save button at the top or bottom of the page to apply the new settings.
