This guide explains how to configure the automatic assignment of bonus points for specific customer actions, such as registration, newsletter subscription, or leaving a review.
Procedure
1. Access the Punti plugin settings and select the General tab.
2. Make sure that point assignment is enabled by checking the Enable Point Assignment box.
3. Locate the Assignment section.
4. To assign points for user registration:
- In the field under the label Assign on Registration (points), enter the number of points the user will receive upon registration.
5. To assign points for newsletter subscription:
- In the field under the label Assign on Newsletter Subscription (points), enter the number of points the user will receive upon subscribing.
6. To assign points for leaving a review (if the e-commerce module is active):
- In the field under the label Assign on Leaving a Review (points), enter the number of points to assign for each review.
- If you want points to be assigned for each review left (and not just the first), check the box under the label Assign Multiple Times (the option is labeled as Assign for Each Received Review).
7. Save changes to apply the new settings.
