This guide explains how to change the displayed text and the graphical appearance of the button your customers use to apply points discounts during the checkout phase.
Procedure
1. Log in to the admin panel and go to the Settings of the "Customer Points" plugin.
2. Within the plugin settings, select the General tab.
3. Scroll down until you find the Messages section (located on the right).
4. To change the button text, locate the 'Apply Discount' Button Text field and enter the desired new text.
- Note: You can use the shortcodes
{points}and{points-value}to display respectively the points used and the value of the discount obtained.
5. To change the button's appearance, use the dropdown menu 'Apply Discount' Button Type. Select your preferred style (for example, Primary, Success, Danger, etc.).
6. Once you have completed your changes, make sure to Save the settings. The new text and style of the button will be immediately visible at checkout.
