This guide explains how to define how many points your customers will earn based on the amount they spend.
Procedure
1. Access the Customer Points module settings.
2. In the General tab, make sure that points assignment is enabled by checking the box:
- Enable Points Assignment
3. Scroll down to the Assignment section.
4. In the Assign (points) field, enter the number of points you want to assign.
5. In the For every (of spending) field, enter the amount of spending required to earn the points defined in the previous step.
- Example: If you set 10 in the Points field and 1 in the Spending field, the customer will earn 10 points for every €1 spent.
6. In the When order is field, select when points should be credited to the customer:
- Paid / Cash on Delivery Sent
- Set as Completed
- Created (before payment)
7. Click the save button (usually at the bottom of the page) to apply the changes.
