Choose the condition (order status) for the automatic assignment of points

Why do it: This setting defines at which stage of the purchase process points are automatically credited to the customer.

Procedure

1. Access the Points system settings section.

2. In the General tab, scroll down to the Assignment section.

3. Locate the field labeled When the order is.

4. Click on the dropdown menu and select the desired condition for points assignment:

  • Paid / Cash on delivery shipped: Points are assigned at the moment of payment confirmation (or if the order is cash on delivery).
  • Set as completed: Points are assigned only when an operator manually sets the order status to "Completed".
  • Created (before payment): Points are assigned immediately as soon as the order is generated in the system, even before payment has been made.

5. Make sure to save the settings to apply the change.
