This procedure explains how to define the nature of the gift you are creating (for example, whether it is a physical item, a coupon, etc.) within the configuration.
Procedure
1. Access the management section where you are creating or editing a gift (usually within the Gift List in the plugin settings).
2. Locate the configuration row of the gift you are modifying.
3. In the field labeled Gift Type, click on the dropdown menu.
4. Select the desired type of gift. For example, choose Item if the gift consists of a physical product or service.
5. After selecting the type, a new section will appear below, titled Preferences [Gift Type Name] (for example, Item Preferences).
6. Fill in the specific settings for that type of gift. If you selected Item, you will need to:
- Use the Select item to gift field to search for and choose the product or service.
- Use the Select shipping method field to specify how the item will be shipped.
