Define the frequency of gift assignment (via cron interface)

This guide explains how to set the automatic frequency at which periodic gifts are assigned to your customers.

Procedure

1. Access the plugin settings section and select the Gifts tab.

2. In the main section, under the label Gift Assignment, check the box Enable gift assignment.

3. Once enabled, the interface for defining the frequency (the cron selector) will appear. Use this graphical interface to specify exactly when the gifts should be assigned (for example, every day, every Monday, or on the first of the month).

4. If you want the gifts to have an expiration, locate the label Keep gifts for a maximum of.

• Enter a numeric value in the first field.
• Select the appropriate time unit from the dropdown menu: minutes, hours, days, or weeks.

5. After defining the frequency and any expirations, make sure to save the settings to apply the changes.
