This guide explains how to set up the automatic sending of reminder emails to your customers when their membership plan is about to expire.
Reminders can be scheduled to be sent on specific days before the actual expiration date.
Procedure for Setting Up Expiration Reminders
1. Log in to the admin panel and go to the Settings section of the Membership plugin.
2. Within the plugin settings, select the Email tab.
3. Locate the section labeled Send expiration reminders.
4. Click on the field below this label to open the selection menu. This field allows you to select multiple options simultaneously.
5. Select the days on which you want the system to send a reminder before expiration. You can choose from the following options (up to 30 days before):
- On expiration day (Sends the reminder on the exact day of expiration).
- 1 day before
- X days before (where X is the number of selected days, e.g., "5 days before").
Tip: Select all days you deem appropriate (for example, 7 days before and 1 day before) to maximize the chances of customer renewal.
6. After selecting all desired options, save the changes to activate the reminders.
The system will automatically send reminder emails to your customers based on the selected days.
