This guide shows you how to set specific phone numbers, single or multiple, as recipients of a message within a standard WhatsApp automation.
Enter Custom Recipients for Automation Sending
Procedure
1. Log in or create a new automation step of type WhatsApp.
2. In the WhatsApp Settings section, locate the Recipient field.
3. Click on the dropdown menu and select the Custom option.
- Note: If this option is selected, the system will ignore the default recipient (the contact who triggered the automation).
4. A new field called Custom Recipient will appear.
5. Enter the desired phone numbers in this field.
- For multiple recipients, separate each number using a comma (e.g.,
393331234567, 393459876543).
6. Fill in all other required fields (such as Message Title and Message).
7. Click the button to save the action (usually Save or Save Changes).
When the automation runs, the message will be sent to the numbers specified in the Custom Recipient field.
