Create or edit a WhatsApp message for a marketing campaign

This guide explains how to set up the content and settings of a WhatsApp message within a marketing campaign (Automation or Standard).


WhatsApp Message Configuration

To create or edit a WhatsApp message, follow the steps below within the action editing screen:

1. Basic Settings

1. Message Title: In the Message Title field, enter an internal name to identify this action within your campaign.

2. Sender: In the Sender dropdown menu, select the WhatsApp phone number you will use to send the message. Select Default to use the default configured number.

3. Recipient:

  • Leave it on Default if you want the message to be sent to the contact executing the action in the campaign.
  • Select Custom if you want to send the message to specific numbers regardless of the campaign contact.

4. Custom Recipient (if applicable): If you selected Custom, enter mobile numbers in the Custom Recipient field. You can enter multiple recipients separated by commas.

2. Content Creation

1. Message: Write your WhatsApp message content in the Message text area.

  • Note: The message is limited to a maximum of 1530 characters.
  • You can use Shortcodes (variables like {nome}, {cognome}, etc.) listed in the table above to personalize the message with recipient data.

2. Attachments: Click on the Attachments area to upload files to include in the message.

  • Allowed file types are images (JPEG, PNG) and PDF.
  • You can upload up to 3 attachments.

3. Saving

Once configuration is complete:

1. Click the save button (usually Save or Save Changes) to confirm the action and integrate it into your campaign.
