Why do it: This setting allows you to define whether the WhatsApp message should be sent to the contact who triggered the automation (default mode) or to one or more specific numbers (custom mode).
Procedure
1. In the WhatsApp Settings section, locate the Recipient field.
2. Click on the dropdown menu to choose the sending mode:
Option A: Default Recipient
1. Select the Default option.
2. Result: The message will be automatically sent to the phone number of the contact going through the automation. No additional action is required.
Option B: Custom Recipient
1. Select the Custom option.
2. Result: A new field called Custom Recipient will appear.
3. In the Custom Recipient field, enter the mobile number (or multiple separated numbers) to which you want to send the message.
- Note: The field accepts one or more specific mobile numbers.
3. Complete the other message settings and save the action.
