Modify the settings of an existing WhatsApp send action

To update the content, sender, or recipient of an automatic WhatsApp message within a campaign.

Procedure

1. Access the edit section of the existing WhatsApp action. The page will be titled Edit WhatsApp.

2. Scroll down to the WhatsApp Settings section.

3. Update the internal name of the action in the Message Title field.

4. Select the phone number from which the message will be sent using the Sender dropdown menu.

5. Define the message recipient in the Recipient dropdown menu:

• Select Default to send the message to the contact associated with the automation.
• Select Custom if you want to send the message to a specific number or a list of numbers.

6. If you selected Custom, enter the desired phone number(s) in the Custom Recipient field that appears.

7. Edit the message content in the Message text field.

• Note: You can use the Shortcodes listed in the table to personalize the message with contact data.

8. Add, remove, or modify multimedia files (such as images or PDFs) to attach to the message via the Attachments section.

9. Once your changes are complete, click on your automation or campaign's save button to confirm the new settings.
