This procedure allows you to specify a landline number or a variable (shortcode) as the message recipient, instead of using the contact's default phone number.
Procedure
1. Access the WhatsApp Settings (or Edit WhatsApp) section.
2. Locate the recipient section, labeled Recipient.
3. Click on the dropdown menu under Recipient and select the Custom option.
4. A new field called Custom Recipient will immediately appear.
5. Enter in this field the specific phone number (e.g., 393331234567) or the variable containing the number to which you want to send the message.
- Tip: If you are using a variable (shortcode), make sure it is present in the list of available variables above the settings.
6. Once you have entered the desired value, the custom recipient configuration is complete.
