Select the blocking mode (by IP or for non-logged-in users)

To activate the maintenance page and choose who can access the site, follow these steps.

Procedure

1. Make sure the Set website to 'In maintenance' checkbox is selected to enable the feature.

2. Locate the Lock mode field.

3. Select the desired lock mode from the dropdown menu:

  • Block by IP: Only specified IP addresses will be able to access the site. Everyone else will see the maintenance page.
  • Block non-logged-in customers: All visitors who are not logged in (customers or administrators) will see the maintenance page.

4. If you selected "Block by IP":

a. In the Whitelist IP field, enter the IP addresses that should have access to the site, separated by commas.

b. To quickly add your own IP address, click the Use my IP button.

5. Remember to save your changes (usually by clicking the Save or Apply button at the bottom of the page).
