Activate or deactivate 'Maintenance mode

Content:

This mode is useful for temporarily hiding your website from the public while you perform updates or maintenance work.

Procedure

1. Access the settings of the "Maintenance Page" plugin and navigate to the General section.

2. To enable lock mode, check the box next to Set website 'In Maintenance'. To disable it, uncheck the box.

3. If the mode is active, you need to choose how to block access via the Lock Mode dropdown menu:

  • Select Block by IP to allow access only to specific IP addresses.
  • Select Block non-logged-in customers to allow access only to users who have logged in.

4. If you chose the Block by IP mode, you must specify the addresses that can access the site in the IP Whitelist field.

5. To quickly add your current IP address to the authorized list, click on the Use my IP button.

(Note: Always make sure to save changes after configuring maintenance mode.)
