This guide shows you how to set the time interval between the display of one popup and the next.
Why do it
Controlling the interval and duration of popups is essential to avoid overwhelming the visitor with too many notifications in rapid succession.
Procedure
1. Access the settings of the Live Visitor Events plugin.
2. Go to the General section (identified by the title Display).
3. In the field labeled How often do you want to show the popup?, enter the number of seconds that must pass between the end of one popup and the start of loading the next.
- Note: The minimum allowed value is 3 seconds.
4. In the field How long should it remain visible?, enter the number of seconds for which the popup should stay visible on screen.
5. Save the changes to apply the new interval.
