This guide explains how to manage which specific tracked events (such as sign-ups, downloads, or custom actions) should be shown in the "Live Visitor Events" popups.
Procedure
1. Access the settings of the plugin "Live Visitor Events" in your admin area.
2. Click on the Tracking tab.
3. Scroll through the list to find the specific tracking event you want to modify. Each event is identified by the label Evento [Event Name] (for example, Evento download_file).
4. To enable the display of that event:
- Check the box next to Abilita evento [Event Name].
5. To disable the display of that event:
- Make sure the box next to Abilita evento [Event Name] is empty.
6. If the event is enabled, you can configure its display parameters:
- Under the label Mostra gli eventi più recenti di, enter the number of days (e.g.,
7) to define the time window for events to show. - Under the label Testo evento, customize the message that will appear in the popup for this type of action.
> Note: If the Tracking section shows the warning "Non sono ancora stati trovati eventi tracciati," it means that the system has not yet recorded data for tracking events and you will not be able to enable them.</blockquote>
7. After completing your changes, make sure to save the plugin settings. (The location of the save button may vary depending on your system).
