Why do it:
The "Live Visitor Events" popup shows recent activities performed by visitors (such as purchases or tracked actions). By clicking on it, you can directly access the product or page that generated the event, if a link is available.
Procedure
1. Wait for the popup to appear
The popup will appear in the bottom-left corner of the screen (position defined by "positionClass": "toast-bottom-left liveEventPopup"). The popup will remain visible for the duration set in the general settings (field duration).
2. Identify the linked content
If the displayed event (e.g., a purchase of a specific product or a tracked action with a link) is connected to an external resource, the entire content of the popup will be clickable.
- The popup content may include:
- A Title (e.g., "Mario from Rome purchased:").
- The main Content (e.g., the product name).
- A preview Image (
eventImage).
3. Click to access
Click anywhere within the body of the popup. You will be immediately redirected to the product or page associated with that event.
Note: If the event is not associated with a specific link (as happens for some tracked events without a destination URL), clicking on the popup will have no effect.
