Manage the enabling and position of the chat on the site (Admin)

This guide shows you how to globally enable or disable Live Chat on your site and how to set its position on the screen.

Procedure

1. Log in to your site's admin area.

2. In the sidebar menu, go to Plugins and select Live Chat.

3. Click on the Display tab.

1. Enable or Disable the Chat

1. Locate the section titled Chat Display.

2. To enable chat on the site, make sure the checkbox next to Show chat on site is checked.

3. To disable chat, uncheck the Show chat on site box.

2. Define Position and Appearance

If chat is enabled, you can configure its appearance:

1. In the Title field, enter the text that will appear in the chat window header (for example: "Need help?").

2. In the Position field, choose where the chat bubble should appear on the screen:

  • Select Right to place it at the bottom right.
  • Select Left to place it at the bottom left.

3. (Optional, if active) If you use the "Working Hours" plugin, you can check the box Show only during opening hours in the Working Hours section.

3. Save Changes

1. After configuring your desired settings, click the button to Save changes (usually at the top or bottom of the page).
