This guide is necessary only if the site administrator has configured the chat to request contact information before starting a conversation.
Fill out and submit the registration/authentication form
Why it is required
Before you can start the conversation, the system may ask for your contact details. If this is the case, you will see the message: "Where can we reach you in case you get disconnected?".
Procedure
1. Open the Live Chat by clicking on the bubble icon or on the chat header.
2. Start typing your message in the text field.
3. If registration is mandatory, the message text field will be replaced by an authentication form.
4. Read the request message: "Where can we reach you in case you get disconnected?".
5. Fill in all required fields within the displayed form (for example, name, email, or phone).
6. Once the fields are completed, click on the submit button associated with the form (the button text may vary but will generally be Send or Confirm).
7. After successful submission, the form will disappear and the chat area will open. Your original message (the one you were trying to send before the authentication request) will be sent automatically.
8. You can now continue the conversation normally.
