Define the operation (Add, Remove, Set) and the value in points for a rule

This procedure guides you through configuring the action that will be performed on the customer's score when a specific Lead Scoring rule is met.

Procedure

1. Access the Lead Scoring rules management section (usually in the Conditions tab of the plugin settings).

2. Create a new rule or edit an existing one.

3. In the rule row, locate the section labeled Operation.

4. Use the dropdown menu to select the type of modification to apply to the score:

  • Add: Adds the specified value to the customer's current score.
  • Remove: Subtracts the specified value from the customer's current score.
  • Set: Overwrites the customer's current score by setting it to the specified value.

5. In the numeric field next to the dropdown menu, enter the numerical point value to be applied.

6. Ensure that the Title field is filled in to identify the rule.

7. Define the Conditions and Description of the rule, if necessary.

8. Save changes to the rule. (Saving is handled automatically by the system or via a general save button).
