Assign labels (tags) to customers by applying predefined notes

This guide explains how to configure a predefined note that, once applied to a customer's history, automatically assigns specific labels (tags).

1. Configuring Predefined Notes and Label Association

First, you need to define the predefined note and select the labels that will be applied automatically.

1. Go to the plugin Settings (usually under the "Customer Flow" or "Plugin" section).

2. Scroll down to the Predefined Notes section.

3. Add a new row to create a new note.

4. Fill in the fields:

  • Title: Enter a descriptive name for the note (e.g., "Interested Customer").
  • Note: Enter the standard text of the note that will be applied.
  • Label Assignment: Select one or more labels from the list. These are the labels that will be assigned to the customer when this predefined note is used.

5. Click on Save Changes (or the equivalent save button on the settings page).

2. Applying the Note to the Customer

Once configured, you can use the note when adding an event to a customer's history.

1. Open the tab of the customer you want to assign the label to.

2. Access the section for adding a new note or event (History).

3. Click on the Predefined Notes button (identified by the magic wand icon $\text{ } \mathbf{\text{i fas fa-magic}}$).

4. Select the Title of the predefined note you configured in the previous step (e.g., "Interested Customer").

5. The note field will automatically populate with the predefined text and a hidden unique code.

6. Click Save (or equivalent button to add the event).

Result: As soon as the note is saved in the customer's history, the labels selected in the Label Assignment field (Step 1) will be immediately applied to the customer's profile.
