Grouped Products

Groups, Kits and Bundles, Automatic warehouse, Margin control, Component visualization

Description: Allows you to group multiple existing products from the catalog into a single purchasable item, simplifying the sale of kits or bundles.

What is it for? (Practical examples)

This tool is essential when you want to sell a set of items as a single offer while maintaining inventory tracking for each individual component.

  • Creation of Kits and Bundles: Sell a "Startup Kit" that includes product A, product B, and accessory C, but with a single final price.
  • Simplified cart management: The user adds only one item to the cart, but the system internally manages the breakdown of products for billing and logistics.
  • Offers with variable components: You can create a main product and associate all necessary accessories, leaving the system to correctly deduct quantities from inventory.

Main features

  • Group Creation: Within the product edit tab, it is possible to select and add the products that will be part of the group using a dedicated interface.
  • Automatic inventory management: When a customer purchases the grouped product, the system automatically deducts quantities from inventory for all products composing the bundle.
  • Price validation: The system verifies that the selling price of the grouped product is at least equal to the total cost of the individual products included, helping you maintain profitability.
  • Display customization: Offers dedicated blocks in Visual Builder to show details (name, price, description, image) of each product within the group on the sales page.

How to configure

Configuration takes place directly within the edit tab of the product you want to transform into a "Grouped Product."

1. Access the product tab: Go to the product management area and open the item you want to configure.

2. Select the "Grouped Products" tab: You will find a new tab or section with a cart icon.

3. Add components: Use the selection interface to search for and add products that will form the group. For each component, you can specify the desired quantity.

4. Set the final price: Define the selling price for the entire group.

  • Warning: If the set price is lower than the total cost of selected products, the system will notify you with an error message.

5. Save changes.

Automatic integrations

The module integrates deeply with e-commerce and catalog management features to ensure a consistent workflow.

Integration AreaUser Benefit
Inventory ManagementThe quantity of each individual component product is automatically updated after each purchase.
Product Pages (Visual Builder)Specific graphical elements are available to dynamically display details (price, description, "Add to Cart" button) of each item within the group.
Order Reporting and InvoicingAlthough users purchase a single item, the system breaks down details of individual products for proper internal order and invoice management.
Product CatalogIn the product list, a "Grouped Product" label is displayed to immediately identify items configured with this function.

Key differences

Use Grouped Products when you need to sell a set of items that already exist in your catalog and whose stock must be tracked separately. If you need to create a unique and non-breakable product (e.g., a service or an item without stock), use standard product creation.
