After selecting the Google Sheet you want to use, you need to specify the action that the automation should perform.
This setting is located within the Google Sheets Settings section.
Follow these steps to select the action:
1. Locate the field labeled Action.
2. Click on the dropdown menu and choose one of the following options:
- Set cell value: Select this option if you want the automation to write or update data in your Google Sheet.
- Get cell value: Select this option if you want the automation to read a specific value from the Google Sheet and save it as a variable (Shortcode) to use in subsequent steps of the automation.
Once you have selected the action, the section below will automatically adjust to show you the specific fields needed to configure the chosen action.
