Enter the value to write in the cell (also via shortcode)

This guide shows you how to configure the action to write specific data into a cell of your Google Sheet, also using dynamic data through Shortcodes.

Make sure you have selected the Set cell value option in the Action field before proceeding.

Enter the Value to Write in the Cell

In the section dedicated to the write action, you will find the fields necessary to define the cell position and the content to insert:

1. Row: Enter the row number (for example, 5 for row 5) where you want to write the data.

  • Tip: If you leave this field empty, the system will automatically write the value in the first available empty row of the sheet.

2. Column: Enter the column letter (for example, A, B, C, etc.) where you want to write the data. This field is mandatory.

3. Value: Enter the text or data that must be written in the specified cell.

  • You can enter static text (e.g., "Completed").
  • You can use Shortcodes (visible in the table above) to insert dynamic data (e.g., contact name, email, custom variables). For example, {customer_email}.

Adding Multiple Values

If you need to write data into multiple cells simultaneously (e.g., writing Name in column A and Email in column B), you can add additional configuration rows:

1. Click on the Add variable button (usually located below the last configuration row).

2. A new row with Row, Column, and Value fields will open.

3. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 to define the new cell and its content.

4. If necessary, you can delete a configuration row by using the Delete variable button.
