Add a variable to set

This guide explains how to configure the action that allows you to write (set) a specific value (which can be a variable or a shortcode) into a defined cell of your Google Sheet.

Prerequisites: You must have already selected the Google Sheet in the Google Sheets Settings section.

Follow these steps to define the variable to set:

1. In the Action field, select the Set Cell Value option.

2. (Optional) In the Sheet Name field, enter the exact name of the tab of your Google Sheet where you want to operate. If left empty, the system will use the first available tab.

3. Under the sheet configuration, click the Add Variable button. A new row will be added to define the cell and value.

4. Fill in the fields for the new variable:

  • Row: Enter the row number where you want to write the data (e.g., 1, 10). If you leave this field empty, the system will automatically find and use the first available empty row (New Row).
  • Column: Enter the letter of the column where you want to write the data (e.g., A, B, C etc.). This field is mandatory.
  • Value: Enter the fixed text or shortcode (dynamic variable) that should be written in the specified cell. This field is mandatory.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add all variables you wish to set in the Google Sheet.
