Define the row and column where to set the value

This guide explains how to configure the exact position (row and column) within your Google Sheet where the system should write a data point.

Prerequisites: You must have already selected the Google Sheet and set the Action to Set cell value.

Procedure to set the cell value

1. Row:

  • In the field labeled Row, enter the row number where you want the value to be written (for example: 5).
  • Note: If you leave this field empty (placeholder: New row), the system will automatically search for and use the first available empty row in the selected sheet.

2. Column:

  • In the field labeled Column, enter the letter that identifies the target column (for example: A, B, C, etc.).
  • Note: This field is mandatory and its placeholder reference is A,B,C etc....

3. Value:

  • In the field labeled Value, enter the specific data or shortcode you wish to write in the cell defined by Row and Column.
  • Note: This field is mandatory.

4. Add more values:

  • If you need to write data into multiple different cells (for example, a value in column A and another value in column B), use the Add variable button to duplicate the settings row and define a new set of Row, Column, and Value.
