This guide explains how to configure the exact position (row and column) within your Google Sheet where the system should write a data point.
Prerequisites: You must have already selected the Google Sheet and set the Action to Set cell value.
Procedure to set the cell value
1. Row:
- In the field labeled Row, enter the row number where you want the value to be written (for example:
5). - Note: If you leave this field empty (placeholder: New row), the system will automatically search for and use the first available empty row in the selected sheet.
2. Column:
- In the field labeled Column, enter the letter that identifies the target column (for example:
A,B,C, etc.). - Note: This field is mandatory and its placeholder reference is A,B,C etc....
3. Value:
- In the field labeled Value, enter the specific data or shortcode you wish to write in the cell defined by Row and Column.
- Note: This field is mandatory.
4. Add more values:
- If you need to write data into multiple different cells (for example, a value in column A and another value in column B), use the Add variable button to duplicate the settings row and define a new set of Row, Column, and Value.
