Contact synchronization ensures that your customer data (such as name, email, phone, newsletter lists, and tags) is automatically updated both on Framework360 and on Google Contacts. Once configured, synchronization occurs automatically every 15 minutes.
Synchronization Procedure
This procedure assumes that the Google Contacts plugin is already installed and that you have completed the authorization (OAuth) to link your Google account.
1. Access Synchronization Settings
1. Log in to the Framework360 control panel.
2. Go to the Plugins section and click on the Google Contacts plugin.
3. Within the plugin settings, look for and click on the tab or section dedicated to Synchronization (or Webhooks).
2. Configure Customer Synchronization
In the synchronization section, you will find the main option for managing contacts: Sync customers.
A. Incoming Synchronization (Import)
This option imports contacts from Google to Framework360.
1. Locate the section related to synchronization Google Contacts => Framework360.
2. Enable this option (usually via a toggle switch or checkbox).
> Result: New contacts added in Google Contacts will be automatically imported into Framework360 and tagged with the internal label "Google Contact".
B. Outgoing Synchronization (Export)
This option exports customers from Framework360 to Google Contacts.
1. Locate the section related to synchronization Framework360 => Google Contacts.
2. Enable this option.
3. If necessary, click the Settings button (or gear icon) to define export filters.
- Here you can specify whether to export only customers who belong to certain newsletter Lists or who have specific Tags in Framework360.
- You can also set whether the mobile phone number field is mandatory for export.
> Result: Framework360 customers who meet the filter criteria will be created as new contacts in Google. Their newsletter lists and Framework360 tags will be included in the "Biography" section of the Google contact.
3. Save Changes
1. After enabling the desired synchronization directions and configuring any filters, make sure to click the Save changes button (or equivalent) to apply the settings.
Automatic synchronization will start within the next 15 minutes.
