Description: A tool that allows you to keep contacts and clients synchronized between the Framework360 platform and your Google Contacts account, ensuring that data is always up-to-date on both platforms.
What is it for? (Practical examples)
Use the Google Contacts module to:
- Keep data updated: If a collaborator updates a client's phone number in Google Contacts, the information is automatically updated in the Framework360 client database as well.
- Advanced segmentation: Leverage marketing lists and tags assigned in Framework360 to automatically organize your contacts in Google, making external management easier.
- Centralization: Ensure that all new clients registered on Framework360 (for example, via a contact form or a purchase) are immediately added to your Google address book.
Main features
Bidirectional automatic synchronization
The system manages synchronization in two directions:
1. From Google Contacts to Framework360 (Import):
- Imports new contacts or updates data of existing ones (first name, last name, email, phone numbers).
- Only contacts modified or added after the last synchronization are imported, ensuring speed and efficiency.
- Each imported client automatically receives the internal label "Google Contact" on Framework360 to facilitate identification of their origin.
2. From Framework360 to Google Contacts (Export):
- Exports Framework360 clients (who have recently interacted with the platform) to Google Contacts.
- Essential personal data is exported (first name, last name, email, mobile phone, landline phone, and company name).
- Information regarding the Newsletter Lists the client is subscribed to and the Internal Tags assigned on Framework360 are added in the "Biography" or "Notes" field of the Google contact, providing immediate context.
Advanced export filters
You can precisely define which Framework360 clients should be exported to Google Contacts by using segmentation systems already present on the platform.
How to configure
The main configuration requires authorization (OAuth) to connect your Google account to the system.
Client synchronization options
In the configuration panel, you need to specify rules for exporting data from Framework360 to Google Contacts.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Incoming synchronization (Google -> F360) | Enables automatic import of contacts from your Google account. |
| Outgoing synchronization (F360 -> Google) | Enables automatic export of clients from Framework360. |
| Export filter | Allows limiting export only to clients who meet specific criteria: |
| - Based on Marketing Lists: Export only clients subscribed to specific newsletter lists. | |
| - Based on Tags: Export only clients who have been assigned specific internal tags. | |
| Require mobile number | If enabled, only clients with a valid mobile phone number in their Framework360 profile will be exported to Google Contacts. |
Automatic integrations
Scheduled automatic operations
Once configured and enabled, the module performs contact synchronization automatically every 15 minutes. This ensures that your address books are always aligned without manual intervention.
Manual synchronization
A function is available to start synchronization immediately, outside of the automatic cycle, directly from the control panel.
Key differences
This module is specifically designed for managing Personal and Business Contacts via Google Contacts. It does not manage other Google services such as Calendar, Drive, or Gmail. It is the ideal tool for those who use Google as a central address book and want to integrate it with marketing and CRM data present in Framework360.
