Google Integration

OAuth 2.0 connection, Authorization management, Google Ads data read-only access, Campaign performance reports, Graphical visualization, Hierarchical account structure

Description: This module allows you to connect your Google account to Framework360 to integrate information, manage permissions, and view reports of your advertising activities.

What is it for? (Practical examples)

Use it to:

  • Centrally view the performance of your Google Ads campaigns directly on the system Dashboard.
  • Monitor key data (clicks, conversions, costs) without having to separately access the Google Ads platform.
  • Manage in one place the permissions granted to Framework360 for access to your Google data.

Main Features

1. Secure connection and permission management

The system uses the OAuth 2.0 protocol to establish a secure connection with your Google account.

  • Permission review: Before completing the installation, a detailed summary of the requested permissions is shown (e.g., access to profile, email, and Google Ads data).
  • Viewing active permissions: In the configuration panel, you can see which permissions have been granted and which Google user they are linked to (name, profile picture, and email).
  • Access to Google Ads data: Access to Google Ads data is read-only, ensuring that Framework360 can only view performance data but cannot modify, create, or delete campaigns.

2. Detailed Google Ads reporting

Once your Google Ads account is connected, the system can retrieve and display the performance of your ads.

  • Performance metrics: Aggregated data displayed includes:
  • Clicks
  • Conversions
  • Impressions
  • Total Cost
  • Average Cost per Click (Average CPC)
  • Click-Through Rate (CTR)
  • Graphical visualization: Clicks, Conversions, and Cost data are represented in line charts to monitor trends over time.
  • Time flexibility: Reporting can show aggregated data by day or, for short time intervals, segmented by hour of the day.
  • Account Structure: The system can retrieve the hierarchical structure of your Google Ads account, including the list of clients (if you use a Manager Account/MCC), Campaigns, Ad Groups, and specific Ads.

How to configure

The main configuration occurs in two phases:

1. Authorization of the Google Account

1. Access the configuration panel of the Google module.

2. Click the button to start the authorization procedure.

3. You will be redirected to Google where you will be asked to select an account and grant the requested permissions (Profile, Email, Google Ads).

4. After granting permissions, the window will close automatically and your account will be connected.

2. Selection of the default Google Ads Account

If your Google account is a Manager Account (MCC) or manages multiple Google Ads clients:

  • In the configuration panel, select the Customer ID of the main account you want to monitor through Framework360 reports.
  • This Customer ID will be used as the default reference for populating widgets and reports.

> Note: If the access token expires or is no longer valid, you will receive a warning in the configuration panel prompting you to repeat the authorization procedure.

Automatic integrations

Google Ads Performance Dashboard Widget

Once integration is active and you have selected a default Google Ads Account, a dedicated widget will appear on your Dashboard. This widget provides an immediate overview of your advertising account's performance for the selected time range.
