This guide describes how to configure specific discounts on products based on the customer's country of origin.
How to specify the discount percentage for each state
Why do it:
This configuration allows automatic discounts to be applied to product prices based on the customer's geographical location.
Procedure:
1. Access the settings of the Prezzo geografico plugin.
2. In the General tab, locate the option Abilita pezzo geografico.
3. From the dropdown menu, select the Attivo option to enable the functionality.
4. Scroll down to the section titled Sconto per Stati.
5. For each listed country, find the label Percentuale sconto followed by the state's name (e.g., Percentuale sconto Italia (IT)).
6. In the text field next to the label, enter the discount percentage you wish to apply to customers from that state.
- Note: Enter only the number (for example, 15 for a 15% discount). The
%symbol is added automatically.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all states where you want to apply a specific discount.
8. Once configuration is complete, make sure to save changes on the platform.
