This guide explains how to set up the default content of the email and SMS that will be automatically sent to the customer after payment is received, using the system's global templates.
Where to find the settings:
Access the Fattura24 plugin settings and navigate to the section dedicated to configuring automatic Emails.
Automatic Sending Configuration
Follow these steps to activate and customize the automatic sending template:
1. Activation of Automatic Sending
1. Locate and select the checkbox:
- Send email automatically upon payment receipt
Once activated, a warning will appear: "The following document will be sent automatically as soon as the order receives payment."
2. Email Customization
Configure the content of the email that will be sent to the customer:
1. Subject: Enter the email subject that the customer will see. Use the field labeled Subject (for example: "Your Invoice for Order #...").
2. Document Title: In the field representing the document title (often displayed in bold within the email body), enter a descriptive title. This corresponds to the field with the placeholder Enter the document title...
3. Custom Message: Use the advanced text editor (TinyMCE) to write the body of the message. This field is labeled Custom Message.
3. SMS Notification Configuration (Optional)
If you want to send an SMS notification in addition to the email, follow these steps:
1. Enable SMS: Select the checkbox within the "Send SMS notification" box.
- Note: If this option is checked, the SMS configuration panel will open.
2. Sender: Choose the sender name that will appear on the customer's mobile phone. Select an option from the dropdown menu labeled Sender (for example: MS Agenzia or FW360).
3. Custom SMS: Enter the SMS message text in the Custom SMS field.
4. Using Shortcodes (Personalization Tags)
To make your messages dynamic and specific to each customer, you can use Shortcodes (or personalization tags).
- Refer to the shortcode table provided below the configuration options to see which information (such as
{cliente-nome},{cliente-email}, or{order-url}) you can insert in the subject, email body, and SMS text.
Once the configuration is complete, be sure to save the plugin settings. The system will use this template every time a document is automatically generated following a payment.
