To include additional images or galleries (defined in extra fields of your content) when sharing a post on Instagram, follow these steps:
Procedure
1. Access the settings of the "Facebook Sharer" (or "Social Sharing") plugin and click on the Instagram tab.
2. Scroll down to the section containing the media-related fields. This section is identified by setting groups labeled as Additional Media [Module Name].
- (Note: The module name varies depending on the type of content you are sharing, for example "Additional Media Products" or "Additional Media Articles").
3. Under the label Additional Media [Module Name], you will find a multi-select menu.
4. Select one or more field names from the list. These names represent the extra fields in your content that contain single images or galleries you want to be uploaded to Instagram along with the main image.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all modules for which you want to configure additional media.
6. Click the save button (usually located at the bottom of the page) to apply the changes.
Once the settings are saved, every time you share an item from that module on Instagram, the images present in the selected fields will be included in the share (as a single post or carousel).
