This procedure allows you to quickly access the Instagram profile of a user who contacted you via Instagram Direct, directly from the conversation screen.
Procedure
1. Access the conversation you want to examine (make sure it is an Instagram Direct type conversation).
2. Within the conversation screen, locate the side or top panel that shows the user's details.
3. Look for the section titled Instagram Profile.
4. Under this heading, you will find the interlocutor's username, preceded by the @ symbol.
5. Click on the username link (for example, @username).
6. The user's Instagram profile will automatically open in a new tab of your browser.
