Write the content of the Messenger message

This guide explains how to set up the text, attachments, and interactive buttons of the Facebook Messenger message that will be sent automatically.

Procedure

1. In the Facebook Messenger Settings section, enter a descriptive name in the Message Title field.

2. In the Sender field, select the Facebook Page you will use to send the message. Select Default to use the account configured in the general settings.

3. In the Attachments field, you can upload up to 3 files (images or PDFs) to include in the message.

4. In the Message text field, write the main content. Keep in mind that the message can be up to 1530 characters long.

Including Interactive Buttons (Optional)

You can add up to two clickable buttons to your message.

1. Expand the Include Button section.

2. In the Button Title field, enter the text that will appear on the button (for example: "Visit Website").

3. In the Button Action field, choose the action that the button should perform:

  • Select Link if you want to redirect the user to a web page. Enter the full URL in the Button Link field.
  • Select Message if you want the button to send a predefined text (payload) to the system. Enter the desired text in the Button Message field.

4. If you want to add a second button, repeat steps 2 and 3 using fields like Button Title 2, Button Action 2, etc.

5. When you have completed configuring the message and buttons, proceed to save the automation.
