This guide explains how to enable or disable the receipt of notification emails when new messages arrive via Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct.
Procedure
1. Access the settings of the Messenger and Direct plugin (usually found in the Plugins or Settings section).
2. Locate the section titled Message reception.
3. Within this section, look for the option labeled Email reception.
4. To enable email sending, check the checkbox next to Enable email sending on receipt.
5. To disable email sending, make sure the checkbox is unchecked.
Changes are saved automatically or require using the general save button on the page.
