This guide helps you set up automatic rules to deactivate (pause) your ads, ad groups, or entire campaigns when they meet certain conditions (for example, if the cost per conversion is too high).
Procedure
1. Access the ad management section and click on Ad Rules.
2. Click the button to Create a new rule.
3. Rule Name: Assign a descriptive name to the rule (e.g., "Pause if CPC too high").
4. Define the Target: Select the element to which the rule will apply:
- Choose the specific Campaign.
- Select the Ad Group (or choose "all" groups within the campaign).
- Select the specific Ad (or choose "all" ads within the group).
5. Select the Action: In the action field, choose Deactivate.
(Note: Deactivation will set the element's status to PAUSED).
6. Define Conditions: Set the criteria that must be met for the rule to execute (for example: "Cost per Conversion" is "greater than" "€5").
7. Set Intervals: Choose how often the system should check the conditions and apply the rule (for example, every day at 08:00).
8. Make sure that the Activate option is selected.
9. Click Save to activate the rule.
