Define the targeting (gender, age, geolocation) and the budget for an Ad Group

To ensure your ads reach the desired audience and to manage the overall campaign spending.


Procedure

Follow these steps to configure the audience and budget for your new Ad Set.

1. Defining Targeting (Audience)

1. Locate the "Targeting" or "Audience" section.

2. In the Gender field, select the gender you want to target with your ads (e.g., Male, Female, or All).

3. In the Minimum Age field, enter the lower age limit of your audience (default is 18).

4. In the Maximum Age field, enter the upper age limit of your audience (default is 65).

5. Define Geolocation by entering the countries, regions, or cities where you want the ads to be shown.

6. (Optional) In the "Placement" section, choose the Platforms where you want the ad to appear (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Messenger).

2. Defining Budget and Duration

1. Locate the "Budget and Scheduling" section.

2. Choose the Budget Mode between:

  • Daily: To set a daily spending limit (DAILY_BUDGET).
  • Total (Lifetime): To set a spending limit for the entire duration of the Ad Set (LIFETIME_BUDGET).

3. In the Budget Amount field, enter the amount you wish to spend.

4. If you selected Total Budget, set the Duration of the Ad Set by specifying how many days it will remain active.

3. Creating the Set

1. After defining all Targeting and Budget parameters, click on the button to finalize creating the Ad Set.

(Note: The system will automatically assign a provisional name to the set, such as: (Framework360) Automatic group of [Date and Time]).
