View the permissions (Scopes) required for the Meta integration

This guide shows how to view the permissions (Scopes) required for the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) integration, both those currently active and those requested during reconnection.

Viewing the Permissions (Scopes) Required for the Meta Integration

Permissions are the rights that Framework360 requests from your Meta account in order to interact with your pages, ad accounts, and basic data.

1. Viewing Currently Granted Permissions

To check which permissions have been previously granted, consult the Settings section of the Meta plugin.

1. Access the Settings section of the Meta (or Facebook) plugin.

2. On the main screen, you will see a list of tiles. Each tile represents a permission (scope).

3. Check the status of each tile:

  • If the tile is highlighted (for example, with a green border or distinctive color), the permission is active (granted).
  • If the tile is not highlighted, the permission has not been granted or is no longer valid.

4. For each permission, you can read the Title and a brief Description:

  • Public information: Retrieves public information from your Facebook account.
  • Email address: Retrieves the email address of your Facebook account.

2. Viewing a Detailed Summary of Requested Permissions

When connecting or reconnecting the integration, a detailed summary of the permissions Framework360 intends to request is displayed.

1. In the Settings section of the Meta plugin, click on the Change or Reconnect button (visible next to the Public information permission).

2. A pop-up window titled "Permissions Summary" will open.

3. In this window, you will find a detailed list of all requested permissions:

  • Public information: Provides your name and profile picture. We use these to personalize your experience.
  • Email address: Provides your Facebook account's email address. We use this to personalize your experience.
  • Note: Additional permissions may be present depending on active features (e.g., page or ads management).

4. Below the list, there is an important note:

> You can choose which permissions to grant through the consent screen that will appear after clicking "Install". We recommend granting all requested permissions for a better experience.

5. To proceed with reconnection and view Meta’s consent screen, click on the Install button (or equivalent) in the pop-up window.

Important: The next screen shown by Meta will allow you to select exactly which permissions to grant or deny. If you deny essential permissions, some integration features may not function properly.
