This guide shows you how to update or replace the linked Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account on the platform.
Procedure
1. Access the Meta plugin settings.
2. In the Public Information section, check the currently linked account (name and profile picture).
3. To start the reconnection or account change process, click the button:
- Change (if an account is already active).
- Reconnect (if the account is not active or the session has expired).
4. A summary window will appear describing the requested permissions (for example, Public Information and Email Address).
5. Click Install to proceed to Meta's consent screen.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your Meta account. You will be asked to grant the necessary permissions (such as access to Pages and Business Manager accounts).
- Note: We recommend granting all requested permissions for a better experience.
7. Once you complete the login and permission granting process, the window will close automatically and the new Meta account will be linked to the platform. The linked account and granted permissions will be displayed on the settings page.
