Create an automation action to publish a post on Facebook

This action allows you to automatically publish a post on your Facebook Page or in a connected Group, as part of an automation sequence.

1. Basic Facebook Post Settings

In the action configuration window, fill in the required fields in the Facebook Post Settings section:

1. In the Post Title field, enter an internal name to identify this action within the automation.

2. In the Message field, write the text that will be published on Facebook. You can use Shortcodes (dynamic variables) to customize the content for each user.

3. From the Page dropdown menu, select the Facebook Page from which the post will be published.

4. (Optional) If you want to publish in a group, select the group from the Publish to Group dropdown menu. Select None to publish on the selected Page.

5. Under the Photo label, upload the image or video you want to attach to the post.

6. From the Post Action dropdown menu, select the action (Call to Action) you want to associate with the post:

  • None
  • Send Message
  • Open Link

7. If you have selected an action other than None, the Action Link field will appear. Enter the destination URL (for example, your website or landing page link).

2. Sponsorship (Optional)

If the Facebook Ads plugin is active, you can choose to automatically sponsor the post just published.

1. In the Sponsorship section, check the Sponsor Post box.

2. Fields will open to define sponsorship targeting.

3. In the Target block, define where the ad will run:

  • Select your Business Manager.
  • Select an existing Campaign or choose Create New.
  • Select an existing Ad Set or choose Create New.

4. In the Group block, if you chose to create a new Ad Set, define targeting parameters and budget:

  • Select target audience Gender (Any, Men, Women).
  • Define age range (Years) (from 18 to 65).
  • Define Budget (amount and type: Daily or Total).
  • Define Duration in days.

3. Conclusion

After configuring all necessary settings, click the button to save the action and return to the automation diagram.
