This guide explains how to upload images or files within a record (e.g., a product or a customer) using the custom fields configured for uploading.
Procedure to Upload Files or Images
1. Access the edit section of the record (e.g., the tab of a Product, a Customer, or another item managed by the system).
2. Navigate to the additional fields tab. Look for and click on the tab containing the custom fields. This tab may be called:
- Additional Fields (default name).
- Or, the specific name assigned in the
Nome tabfield during configuration.
3. Locate the upload field. Find the field you want to populate, identified by its label (defined as Nome campo). Fields that use the uploader are typically of type:
- Single Image
- Gallery
- File
4. Activate the uploader. Click on the upload area below the field's label. The media management window will open.
5. Upload or select content:
- Select a file or image already present in your library.
- Or, use the upload function to upload a new file from your computer.
6. Confirm your selection in the media management window. The file or image will appear in the preview area of the field.
- Note for Galleries: If the field is of type "Gallery," you can repeat steps 4-6 to add more images.
7. Save the record. Make sure to save the entire record (product, customer, etc.) to apply changes and permanently associate the uploaded file with the custom field.
