This guide explains how to configure a Visual Builder block to display data from an Extra Field.
Guide: Selecting the Module and Source Field
To display the content of an extra field, you must first specify to the block which module and which field it should retrieve the information from.
Follow these steps within the block configuration window (for example, a "Text", "Image" or "Extra Field" block):
1. Open the block configuration
Click on the block in the Visual Builder to open the settings window.
2. Select the Source Module
In the section dedicated to data source, locate the label Source Module.
Click on the dropdown menu and select the CMS module (e.g., Products, Clients, etc.) where the extra field was created.
3. Select the Field to Display
Right next to it, locate the label Field to Display.
Click on the dropdown menu and select the specific name of the extra field you want to show in the block.
4. Set the Record ID (Conditions)
Scroll down to the Conditions section. Here you need to indicate which specific record the data belongs to.
In the field labeled Main Record ID, enter the record ID (for example, Product ID or Client ID) from which the system should retrieve the value of the extra field.
Note: This field supports using shortcodes to dynamically retrieve the ID.
