This guide explains how to configure a Visual Builder block (such as "Text", "Image" or "Custom Field") to retrieve and display data from a custom field (Custom Field).
Prerequisites:
- You have added a block compatible with Custom Fields in the Visual Builder.
- You have opened the block settings window.
Step-by-Step Procedure
Follow these steps to link the block to the desired custom field:
1. In the block settings window, locate the data source section (usually the first section).
2. In the field labeled Source Module, use the dropdown menu to select the module (e.g., Products, Clients, etc.) to which you previously associated the custom field.
3. In the field labeled Field to display, use the dropdown menu to select the specific name of the custom field you want to show.
> Note: The list of available fields will update automatically based on the selected Source Module.
4. Scroll down to the Conditions section.
5. In the Main Record ID field, enter the ID of the specific record from which the system should retrieve the field value.
> Tip: This field supports using shortcodes, which are useful for dynamically retrieving the ID (for example, the product ID displayed on a page).
6. Once you have configured the Module, Field, and Record ID, save the block changes. The block will now display the specified custom field value.
