This guide will walk you through configuring the graphic appearance and design of the "Additional Field" block when it is linked to a Gallery-type field.
Configuring the Appearance of the Gallery Field in the Visual Builder
To modify the appearance of an image gallery inserted via an additional field, you need to access the advanced settings of the block in the Visual Builder.
1. Open Block Settings:
In the Visual Builder, click on the Additional Field block you inserted into your page to open the configuration window.
2. Check the Field Source:
In the origin section:
- Make sure you have selected the correct
Source Module. - In the
Field to showfield, verify that the additional field of type Gallery is selected.
3. Access Gallery Design Settings:
Scroll down in the configuration window until you find the settings section. Here you will find a group of settings specific to the selected field type.
- Locate the configuration panel labeled or related to Gallery (
data-name="gallery").
4. Configure Layout (Carousel/View):
Inside the Gallery panel, you will find settings related to "carousel" (carousel or display layout). These settings allow you to define how images will be arranged:
- Choose the display type (for example, whether images should scroll like a carousel or be shown in a grid).
- Configure specific layout parameters (such as spacing between images, navigation arrows, etc.).
5. Configure Individual Image Appearance:
Also within the Gallery panel, you will find settings related to individual image appearance. These settings allow you to:
- Modify image styles (such as borders, shadows, corner radius).
- Configure
show-qualityto optimize loading.
6. Save Changes:
Once you have completed designing your configuration, click on the save button to apply changes to the block in the Visual Builder.
