This guide explains how to customize the appearance of the button that is automatically generated when using an Additional Field of type "File" (Download) within the Visual Builder.
Step-by-Step Procedure
Follow these steps to access and modify the design settings of the download button:
1. Access Block Settings:
In the Visual Builder, locate the block you are using to display your Additional Field and double-click on it to open the settings window.
2. Select the File Field:
In the initial section of the configuration popup, make sure you have correctly selected the field:
- In the Source Form dropdown menu, select the form containing the field.
- In the Field to Show dropdown menu, select the field you previously defined as type
File(ordownload) in the Custom Fields settings.
3. Open Download Preferences:
Once you have selected a field of type download (File), a new configuration section dedicated specifically to the button will appear. This section is labeled as download.
4. Configure Button Design:
- Click on the download section to expand the settings.
- Here you will find all standard options of a "Button" block, including settings for text, icon, and especially design (colors, borders, sizes, etc.).
- Apply your desired aesthetic changes.
5. Save Changes:
After configuring the button’s appearance, save the block settings and finally save the page in Visual Builder. The download button will appear with the new design.
